• Looks: Reddish-orange skin mottled with yellow over yellow flesh. Freestone.

• Personality: Subacid, high sugar – one of the top-scored fruits at a blind tasting held at Dave Wilson Nursery.

• Facts of note: Begin picking before the fruit begins to soften; the subacid varieties have the advantage of being good to eat before they are fully ripe.
